国民年金保険料 免除・納付猶予 承認通知書 — exemption application result

Who sends it日本年金機構 (Japan Pension Service)
When it arrives and deadlineArrives 2 to 3 months after you apply.

What it is

Tells you whether your 国民年金 exemption application was approved, what type (full, three quarters, half, one quarter or deferral) and for which months.

What to do

Full exemption: nothing to pay in that period. Partial exemption: pay the reduced amount with the new slips, or the month counts as unpaid. The exemption lasts until June: apply again every July.

If you ignore it

The part you do not pay under a partial exemption becomes a debt, and the month does not count toward your pension.
